Waynesboro Town Square
Tennessee State Hwy 13 and Hwy 64 meet at Waynesboro Court Square. The standing county courthouse, contemporary in design was looked upon as a state of the art structure at the time of its construction during the late 1970's. A stroll across the courthouse lawn and on toward the gazebo reveals a county rich in history through the monuments and memorials dedicated to those who have served our country with honor and valor.
Antiques and specialty items can be found in shops around court square, along with a delicious mix of local cuisine. Begin your shopping experience on the north side of Waynesboro square with a visit to the Antique Mall of Waynesboro. Multiple vendors keep the mall stocked with antique furnishings, collectibles and glassware. As you stroll up the street, be sure to stop in and say "Hello" to Carl Griggs, owner of Carl's Music Studio.
Time to rest? Hungry, yet? A full-service fine dining experience awaits you at Emeralds Restaurant, along the west side of court square. Known for their home-made pizzas, Emeralds' menu also features several varieties of pasta and sandwiches. Open every day from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Dress is casual and atmosphere is fun!

Clifton Main Street
A quiet and relaxing experience awaits you in Clifton. Nestled on the banks of the Tennessee River, Main Street ends at the old ferry landing that transported residents across the Tennessee River for many years. Make your first stop the Greater Clifton Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, located on Main Street near the rivers edge, and stroll along Historic Pillow Street on original stone sidewalks. Enjoy the river overlook at the end of Main Street at Forrest's Crossing then follow Water Street along the banks of the river to Clifton Marina. Convenient access via Hwy 64, the Tennessee River or the Clifton Airport!
Collinwood- on Broadway!
Exit the Natchez Trace at mm 355, a 444- mile National Park stretching from Nashville, Tennessee to Natchez, Mississippi and step off the beaten path and onto the back roads of Tennessee! Once a thriving railroad town, the original train depot and a select few buildings along Broadway Street are reminders of an era of busy streets and sidewalks now long gone.
But this is a strong little town on the verge of a rebirth. Welcoming weary travelers off the Natchez Trace, a host of volunteers staff Wayne County's own welcome center directing visitors to local restaurants, shops and recreational spots.Visit Collinwood Hardware, across the street from the Wayne County Welcome Center for a selection of cast iron utensils, washboards and all your farming needs!Follow Hwy 13 South through town to stock up on grocery items at Long Green's Supersaver. Camp in one of three town parks or spend the night in comfort at Miss Monetta's Country Cottage. You can re-enter the Natchez Trace Parkway from Hwy 13, four miles south of town at the edge of the city limits.
