The old town bridge, located just east off the public square over Green River, is being dedicated to Harvel C. Carter, Tech 5 who was a Army soldier who sacrificed his life in WWII.
Following there will be another dedication to the Hickory Mill bridge in honor of Hershel Dotson Lynn, S-SGT U.S. Army, located on Hwy 13 S., just across from the Post Office.
Several dignitaries invited to attend. A salute will also be made in honor of those being dedicated.
